The data controller is Fábi & Mészi Korlátolt Felelősségű Társaság (short name: Fábi & Mészi Kft.), registered office: 1214 Budapest, II. Rákóczi Ferenc út 185-187., company registration number: 01-09-419308, Hungarian tax number: 32345757-2-43. The company operates Best Barbers Budapest.

The salon itself is at a different address: 1097 Budapest, Vágóhíd utca 3/D. The registered office is the company’s official address; your appointment is at the salon.

When you book, we ask for your name and phone number. Without these we cannot tie the appointment to you, and we cannot reach you if something changes.

Your e-mail address is needed so we can send a confirmation and a reminder. If you don’t provide one, we arrange things by phone.

We also store the booking itself: the service, the time, the barber, the language of the booking, and the price of the service at the time of booking. If you add a note, we store that too.

For walk-in guests taken in at the shop we record the name only — no phone number, no e-mail.

We process booking data to perform the service contract between us (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)): without it we could not give you an appointment.

Cookies necessary for the site to work are used on the basis of legitimate interest. Analytics and advertising cookies run ONLY with your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)) — you can give or refuse it in the bar at the bottom of the site, and change your mind at any time by clearing your browser cookies.

We keep booking data for 5 years from the date of the appointment, as accounting rules require this retention period for service-related records.

The log of confirmation and reminder e-mails (who, when, whether it succeeded) is kept for the same period, so it can be answered later whether you received the notice.

The consent cookie lasts one year, after which we ask again.

Your data is seen by the shop staff who fulfil your booking.

Our technical processors are Cloudflare, Inc. (hosting the site and the database; data is stored within the European Union) and Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France), which delivers the confirmation and reminder e-mails.

If you consent to measurement, Google Ireland Limited also receives data about your visit (Google Analytics, Google Ads). Without consent these services do not start at all.

We do not sell your data, and we do not pass it on to anyone for marketing purposes.

You may ask us to show what data we hold about you; you may ask for it to be corrected, erased, or its processing restricted. You may object to the processing, and you may ask for your data in a portable format.

You may withdraw your consent at any time — this does not affect the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal.

If you believe we handle your data unlawfully, you may complain to the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9–11., ugyfelszolgalat@naih.hu), or go to court.

The confirmation e-mail contains a unique link that lets you view, cancel or move your appointment without signing in. This link is secret: anyone who has it can access your booking, so don’t share it.

Online cancellation is possible up to two hours before the appointment starts. Within that window, please call us.

Cookies necessary for the site are always used — for example remembering your consent choice and the admin sign-in session.

Analytics and advertising cookies (Google Analytics, Google Ads) only start if you allow them in the bar at the bottom of the site. If you refuse, these services are not loaded and set no cookies.
